ADVANCED RF power splitter/combiner model 3NGPS1 is a superior 3-way microstrip Wilkinson power divider circuit covering all Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) frequency bands (GPS, GLONASS, IRNSS, GALILEO, BeiDou, QZSS). Constructed using all RoHS compliant materials and supplied with N jack (f) connectors. This 3-way splitter is also available with SMA, TNC, BNC or QMA connector options.
Model 3NGPS1 integrates a DC block and 200Ω internal load on two output ports. This unique feature of the splitter may be necessary when powering an antenna through one port and sharing the signal with multiple receivers. Using a splitter which only has DC blocking may cause the receiver to detect a antenna fault. The 200Ω internal load solves this issue and draws the necessary current preventing receiver error. The Wilkinson divider circuit is tuned to maintain a perfect match for RF Tx/Rx signals. Full specs here.
For outdoor use or in harsh environments where ingress protection is required, weatherproof (IP67) model W3NGPS1 adds silicone o-rings and gaskets ensuring reliable operation.
All ADVANCED RF splitters/combiners can be easily installed in our 1U-5U rack panels - providing flexible configuration options and accomodate future expansion plans in a 19" std EIA rack panel. Alternatively, a non-rack installation of power divider model 3NGPS1 is possible using the provided .16" [4.0 mm] dia thru holes.
Open ports will degrade performance and may cause permanent damage to model 3NGPS1. A well-matched 50Ω coaxial termination/load should be installed on any open port during operation.
